Barrington Court, another National Trust place. A vary large estate. It was threatening to rain all the time we were there, but managed to avoid it, just. It really started raining as we were arriving back to the car.
While in Somerset, we had a little trip to Langport to see Muchelney Abbey. Interesting ruins of an abbey destroyed by the king. Then next door to that was a tiny little church to look around. Finally there was the Priest’s house that was across the road.
A little trip to Somerset allowed us to go visit the start station of the West Somerset Railway. Love steam trains. So here is one that came in and out of the station while we were there, along with some images of the station itself.
