Went into central London with a few of the Northolt Camera Club members, and took some images of the Christmas Lights. It was so busy there, that we abandoned our quest after a couple of hours, as it was such a difficult task to get around. In some places it was obvious that we wouldn’t be able to put down tripods.
We started at Regent’s Street, and walked around to Carnaby Street, where they have used a theme from Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody lyrics because of the movie that has recently been released. Finally we went around to Piccadilly Circus, but it was too busy there, so walked down Piccadilly and saw a Christmas Tree, so photographed from there up Piccadilly.
That’s where we gave up. Last time I did this I was able to cover a lot more ground in about the same time frame, without so many people.
