The Charterhouse – London

An London Appreciation Society tour of the Charterhouse in London.

There was a lot of history provided and a lot of information. Unfortunately, there’s too much for me to remember. But its history goes back to 1348. In that time it has serves as a monastery, private mansion, boys school and an almshouse, which it remains to this day.

For more information about the history of the Charterhouse, I suggest you see their website.

We went on one of “The Brothers’ Tours”. A very interesting 2 hours of information. They also allow you to take whatever photographs you like, as long as you don’t include any of the Brothers.

So here are my images from around this historic place.
