No rutting unfortunately. There looked as though there were going to be some, but it all ended without a rutt. Shame. Anyway, here are a few shots of the deer. We trekked quite a way around the park before we saw individual male deer, but when we were heading out of the park when it was getting dark we saw a lot more, with females and young.
Another walk of the London Loop. Almost, because we went to Rickmansworth and walked to the Coy Carp. This was not actually on the London Loop, but a little side trip. Rickmanswort, down to the canal, then around the Rickmansworth Aerodrome, and back to the canal, to the Coy Carp pub. Lovely walk, I really enjoy walking along the Grand Union Canal.
Went to Guildford today so that one of my sons could take a look at the Academy of Contemporary Music as he is considering going there for a degree or a diploma. While he was there, I decided to walk around the city (it has a cathedral, so it is a city), and take some pictures. I started by walking along the canal, then into the old city high street, and then off to the castle ruins. Love the pictures around the castle, the light was less harsh by then.
